Tree Planting Exercise
This is a collaborative effort between Climate and Ecosystem Restoration to Network and Greendev Solutions that took place at the Muni-Pomadze Ramsar Site. It was part of the organisation’s main aim to contribute to climate action and restore the integrity of an ecologically rich and bio-hotspot zone like the Muni-Pomadze Ramsar Site. This initiative saw the planting of 1120 trees on a one-hectare plot.
This Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme (GSCSP) assignment involved assessment of information for climate change impact prevention and reduction planning, climate change profiling, evaluation and ranking, climate change impact assessment of the Municipality, and climate change mitigation and adaptation strategic plan.
